This article explains how to complete an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request after the Zyxel Technical Support team has determined that your device requires warranty service.
This guide is intended only for customers who already have an existing Technical Support Request. If you have not yet contacted Zyxel Technical Support, please first create a Technical Support Request by following the instructions in the article:
Zyxel Support Portal – How to Contact Technical Support and Request Warranty Service
Note: If you selected "I believe I may need an RMA replacement..." while creating your Technical Support Request and have already completed your warranty and shipping information, you do not need to follow this guide. Your information has already been submitted and will be reviewed by the Zyxel Technical Support team as part of your existing support request.
This article describes the remaining RMA process, including how to complete the RMA form, what information is required, and what happens after your information has been submitted.
Step 1. Complete Your RMA Information
If the Zyxel Technical Support team has confirmed that your device is eligible for warranty replacement, you will be asked to provide additional information required to process your RMA request.
You will receive a notification in your existing Technical Support Request. Open your support request and click the highlighted notification banner.

A new RMA section will become available on the right-hand side of the page, where you can enter the required warranty, shipping, and contact information.
After completing the form, click Submit your information.
A confirmation message will be displayed indicating that your information has been successfully received.
Your Technical Support Request will automatically be updated, and the Zyxel Technical Support team will be notified that the required RMA information has been submitted.
No further action is required from you at this stage. Please wait while the Zyxel Technical Support team reviews your RMA request. You will be contacted if additional information is required or to receive further instructions regarding the warranty replacement process.
