This step by step guide shows how to configure two SSIDs on the NXC controller to authenticate 802.1x on an external RADIUS server of two specific user groups.
Step 1
Create two user groups, “teacher_group” and “student_group”, which are
located in the user’s folder on the Windows server. Add the users to the group.
Step 2
Create the radius client NXC controller on the NPS server.
Step 3
Create two network policies for the user group. User_group1 is for the teacher group.
User_group 2 is for the student group.
Step 4
Configured two Conditions of user_group1.
Windows groups and Called Station ID.
Step 4-1
Add the group on user group 1 of the Windows Group setting.
Step 4-2
The value of the string format of the Called-Station-ID have to be meet the
(.+):SSID3$.
The SSID name has to be the same as the NXC controller settings for a different group.
Step 5
Repeat step 4 to configure the user group 2 for the student group.
Step 6
Create the SSID profile on the NXC controller for teacher_group and student_group.
Step 7
Create the AAA server profile and Auth. Method profile on NXC controller.
Use the same security profile for both SSID profile.
