[Repeater] How do I recover the software/firmware on a WRE2205 (v1/v2)?

STEP 1: Download the latest firmware release for the WRE from our FTP site:

STEP 2: Manually configure an IP address on your computer of 192.168.1.15 and connect the computer via Ethernet to the WRE adapter.

STEP 3: Press the WPS button on the WRE and do not release it. Then power ON the WRE.

STEP 4: Wait about 3 seconds until the signal LED is stable (ON). Now the WRE's IP address is 192.168.1.6 and ready for FW recovery.

STEP 5: Use a TFTP client to PUT the firmware file in the WRE. After the firmware is uploaded, the WRE will perform the upgrade automatically.
