Client Upgrade
Because different computer systems and user accounts have different permissions, it is recommended that the client be installed using administrator privilege. Right-Click the IPSec VPN Client 3.8.204.61.32 installer and select "Run as administrator" to run the installation wizard.
If the IPSec VPN client is already installed on your computer the installation wizard will detect and run an uninstall of the old client before the new version is installed.
Click the OK button to run the uninstall wizard.
From the uninstall wizard, click the Uninstall button to remove the software client from your computer.
Click Finish to finalize the uninstall process and begin the installation of the new software client version.
New Client Install
Because different computer systems and user accounts have different permissions, it is recommended that the client be installed using administrator privilege. Right-Click the IPSec VPN Client 5.6.80.007 installer and select "Run as administrator" to run the installation wizard.
Select the desired language and click OK.
Click the Next button to begin the install wizard process.
Read over the license agreement and select I Agree to continue the installation or click Cancel to exit the installation wizard.
Select the location where to install the software client by clicking the Browse button or click Next to continue with the pre-selected directory.
Create a new start menu folder for the application or select a pre-existing folder to house the application shortcut. Click Install to proceed with application installation.
Check the "Execute: ZyWALL IPSec VPN Client" box to run the application immediately. Click the Finish button to finalize the installation of the software and close the install wizard.
Client Activation
After installing the application for the first time or performing an upgrade/update on the application version the activation wizard will run to start a 30-day trial of software, register/activate license or verify activation.
If using for the first time and don't have a license number, select the "I want to Evaluate the software" radio for a 30-day software trial period.
If activating/registering a license for the first time, please enter the license number and email address to register the service.
If you are upgrading/updating the application to a newer version, the license number and activation email will be automatically filled in with your data (based on computer registry memory).
Click Next to continue with the 30-day trial/activation/account verification.
Click Run to start the VPN client application.
