USG / ZyWall / ATP Series: Firmware Update mandatory before April 30th 2021 (Cyren Anti-Spam / E-Mail Security)

Since May 1st, Cyren will stop the service for Anti-Spam and Email Security.
If your USG/ZyWALL or ATP meet the following conditions, please upgrade these devices to 4.62 as soon as possible:

1. Anti-Spam or Email Security is enabled.
2. USG/ZyWALL: uses a firmware before 4.38
ATP: uses a firmware before 4.50

How to update the firmware correctly, if you are running on an old version:

Otherwise, the devices with the old firmware may encounter reboots due to failed Cyren queries.

We highly recommend you to upgrade the USG/ZyWALL/ATP devices to 4.62 before Apr. 30th to avoid this issue.
If the device reboots repeatedly because users could not update the firmware before Apr. 30th, then use the following command to disable the app-watch-dog temporarily to update the firmware.

CLI commands

Disable:

Router# configure terminal
Router(config)# no app-watch-dog activate

Enable:

Router# configure terminal
Router(config)# app-watch-dog activate
