Often when I activate ZyXEL IPsec Client software, I encounter various error codes. What do these errors mean? Below is a table describing the main error codes that may occur when activating the software.

| Error 000: Internal error |
The software cannot complete the activation process. This can happen if you are activating the software from a computer that does not have administrator rights. |
Activate the software with the administrator rights of the Windows OS. |
| Error 031: License not found |
This error occurs when the wrong license number is specified. | Make sure you specify the correct license number. |
| Error 033: Activation quota exceeded |
The license allows you to activate the software on the computer only once. And in this case, your license has already been activated. | If you need to re-activate the license, first uninstall the software and then reinstall it and activate. |
| Error 034: Strong product code |
The license number you specify is for other software. | Enter the license number from the ZyWALL VPN Client. |
| Error 035: Strong product code |
The license number you specify is for other software. For example, you are trying to activate the ZyWALL VPN Client with a license number from TheGreenBow. | Enter the license number from the ZyWALL VPN Client. |
| Error 036: Not allowed to activate this software release |
The license number you specified does not allow you to activate the software, since This version (release) is intended only for maintenance. | You need to buy the necessary maintenance and then activate this version. Or remove this software version and use the regular final user version. |
| Error 050: Impossible to complete activation process |
This error occurs when the computer receives an incorrect activation code. | If your computer is connected to the Internet through a proxy (proxy), you must specify the proxy settings in step 1 of the activation process (link in the lower left corner of the dialog box). Temporarily disable the firewall (firewall or firewall), because it can prohibit (block) the passage of the activation code or change it. Try Manual Activation. |
