Here we will show you how to report a wrong location from the GEO-IP feature.
Once you recognise an IP Address matching the wrong country in our GEO-IP feature, you can report it directly to our external Vendor, "MaxMind", who is responsible for the signatures we are using.
On our Security Devices, you can check the location as follows:
Go to: Configuration -> Object -> Address / Geo IP -> Geo IP
Check the signature and if needed, use the " Update Now" Button:
You can activate the Auto Update function to avoid manual activities:
To check if the country for your IP address is correct, please enter the IP Address here:
Click the "IPv4 to Geography" Button:
and it will show you the country which is linked to the IP Address:
If this is not the correct country, feel free to fill out the form from "MaxMind" to correct the Database.

Here you can add the affected IP Address, select the correct Country, City, Postal Code and Email Address.
As example:
Once you send it, it will take some days/weeks until the signature is updated. This depends on the Vendor.
