In this article we are going to go through the first setup of the firewall, this article will not include any deep configuration. At the bottom of the article, you will find a list of helpful next steps in terms of configuration.
Before starting, ensure that you have connected your WAN cable and LAN cable.
1. Logging in to the web GUI of the device
You can access the device with https://192.168.1.1/ by default.
The default credentials are below to log in to the device:
Username: admin
Password: 1234
You will be prompted to change the password before you can log in again, please memorize this or save the password so you don't forget it.
2. Setup wizard walkthrough
When you have logged in for the first time you will be presented with the setup wizard, this will guide you with the basic system settings for the device, such as time and date, internet, device registration, etc.
For convenience for management, you might want to enable remote access to the firewall over the internet, and for security reasons you might want to change the default HTTPS port 443, this can be done during the wizard.
3. Checking your settings
You might want to configure your LAN network and change the subnet/DHCP-related settings.
