USG/ATP/USG FLEX - Deleting a Config File that includes Special Characters

In this article, we will look at how you can remove a configuration file that includes special characters.

This workaround is valid for USG / ATP / USG FLEX Devices.

Step 1:

Log in to Your Device via SSH / Console / Web Console

Access the command line interface of your Zyxel device (SSH via puTTY & Console via TeraTerm)

Step 2:

Rename the configuration file:

Router> rename /conf/1(1).conf  /conf/1-1.conf

Step 3:

Delete the file:

Router> delete /conf/1-1.conf

Alternatively, you can install the latest Weekly Version:

Weekly Firmware / Support Version / Lab Version
